Silver Knights Robotics uses LEGO® WeDo 2.0 in our enrichment classes. LEGO WeDo 2.0 is a hands-on activity that combines the LEGO® brick, child-friendly software, and engaging projects which inspire children to explore the world of robotics. Each pair of children works with a tablet and a LEGO kit that includes 280 pieces, a SmartHub, motor, and sensors. Students learn to use gears and pulleys to program robots that move, crank, spin and communicate.
Our curriculum encourages students to collaborate and share their discoveries as they build, program, and modify projects. Silver Knights staff receive thorough training, background checks and support from our Program Management staff. Each session includes different projects so material doesn’t repeat. The result – a program that builds students’ confidence to explore robotics in a fun and engaging activity!
